IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As of the 15th January 2010, the NSW rebate has been reduced to a flat $300, rather than an amount up to $1200. This will increase the overall cost of the Basic Package by $500.
As of 19th February, the Federal Government Rebate for solar hot water has been reduced to $1000. This will increase the overall cost of the Basic Package by $600.
The Solar New England Program is a large scale community group purchasing program designed to make high quality solar hot water systems and solar power (electricity) systems more affordable for Australian Families.
The program is available to people living in the shires of Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha.
By participating in the New England Program , the inherent costs of installing solar such as capital equipment cost, transport and installation can all be consolidated and the savings passed directly to you.

What sort of solar is being provided?
There are two types of solar being provided under the Solar New England Program:

Solar Power (Electricity) - Provided by Ausenergy (see NESS website for details)
Endless Solar and Ausenergy will work collaboratively with local community group NESS to provide both types of solar to everyone in the New England Community.
